My name is Dr. Christos Petridis and I'm a vascular and endovascular surgeon. During my career I have seen many patients suffer from diseases, that led to dramatic emergencies and quite often to fatal outcome. Until most recently in my position as Head of division of vascular surgery I always felt very sorry for patients who could have been saved just if they had known about their disease earlier.

This circumstance drove me to the mission to inform and educate as much people as possible about these different diseases and show them a way to handle them in order to survive them. The book you're about to read is the tool to achieve that goal.
